New Hampshire is a beautiful, mountainous state nestled in New England. It is a great vacation spot for New Englanders and even a great destination to visit for non locals, especially in summer and fall. It is also a great spot to elope, like Madi and Sean did this past summer. After looking through you may be inspired to plan your elopement in the White Mountains of NH.
The location was in Franconia Notch State Park in the heart of the White Mountains and we lucked out with an absolutely beautiful day.
We started the afternoon at a pull over in Franconia State Park where I photographed the details of their day before they changed in their car and grabbed their belongings to head to the viewpoint. We did have to make a short hike to the ledge and back, but luckily is wasn’t too challenging with all of our extra belongings! Madi & Sean said their vows as the sun shined over the mountains and we stayed there until the sun disappeared and the moon was visible. It was too beautiful to leave too soon. And because they eloped and kept things intimate, we had ample time to just enjoy the views without having to rush to a reception. The only timeline we were going by was the sun and the moon.
We came prepared with headlamps for the trail going back once the sun had set and all in all it was a beautiful way to celebrate their elopement in the White Mountains of NH.
