Katie and Mike were always planning to have a backyard wedding. When they booked me and shared some of the vendors they had hired, I knew their day was going to be nothing short of extraordinary. Their team of vendors helped bring this elegant and dreamy backyard wedding vision to life and wow was it one for the books!
COVID certainly added a few twists to how their final day ended up looking compared to what they originally had planned. Cutting their guest list by over 100 guests and having to have a fully seated cocktail hour were a few changes. However, they rolled with the punches and trusted their vendors to make this day the most memorable!
Once the traditional church ceremony concluded, guests made the short 5 minute drive to the reception location. Guests were immediately greeted with stunning floral and greenery installations entering cocktail hour. At this point, Katie and Mike had not seen the reception tent. Once we finished wedding party photos, they got to take a peek and their reaction speaks for itself!
The evening was filled with lots of champagne, meaningful toasts and even a surprise song by the groom’s brother!
