My photography style is a mix of candid and documentary photography with an editorial and creative touch.
A more documentary style allows for times when you and your partner can just be present in the moment. And for me to observe your friends and family and show you moments you may not even know are happening.
The more editorial/artistic approach is fueled by what I see throughout the day. I get inspired by your venue, your energy, your attire, and even the lighting! So when inspiration strikes, I can sneak you two away for a few moments for some more creative photos! Because we all know you are going to look your dang best on your wedding day, so why not embrace it?!
I strive to get to know my couples, learn what you are most excited about on your wedding day and to have your gallery reflect that. Embracing who you are, the energy that was present the emotions of the day, all in a way that feels like you are going back in time.
Your wedding day is unique to you, and the photos should reflect that,
'Lauren was everywhere that day and yet somehow also mostly invisible -- in exactly the way an incredible photographer should be.'
I’m a mother, wife, dog fanatic, and photographer capturing memories for couples who don’t want to miss out on their wedding because their photographer is too preoccupied with checking boxes off a shot-list.
The most important part of your wedding day is you. Let’s focus on the love, celebration, and joy and ditch the idea that a wedding day has to follow the rules.
'She captured the raw emotions and love that we felt with ease. Her romantic and timeless style is unique and stands out.'
