Saturday August 28, was the first break in a 3 day 90 degree heat wave in New England. It was a high of 71 degrees and overcast. The absolute perfect weather for a backyard wedding at Lake Winnipesaukee in Meredith NH.
Lauren and Mike spend a lot of time at Lake Winnipesaukee with family, so getting married here was an easy decision for them! They certainly faced a lot of wedding planning curve balls though! Including a last minute venue swap 2 weeks before the wedding! Their friends and family clearly stepped up to help and hosted the wedding at Mike’s uncle’s home.
Their day started at Church Landing in downtown Meredith where we did their finishing touch photos and their first look, which if you take a scroll through, was a reallll good one!
From there we heading to the venue, aka, lake house for the ceremony and reception. Their ceremony was short and sweet and filled with absolutely beautiful vows they wrote for each other.
We snuck down to the dock after the ceremony for a few more portraits and then they were ready to mingle and party! And I can’t blame them!
These two are some of the most kind people I have worked with and you can tell they were just so dang happy to be married and celebrate with friends and family! It even rained during dinner! But just enough for good luck!
The dance floor was toweled off and just in time for them to tear it up with their guests! It was an absolutely perfect day for a backyard wedding at Lake Winnipesaukee.
