When I first spoke with Alex about their wedding they were planning, I knew they were going to put together such a special day. Her parents hosted their intimate backyard wedding at their home in Massachusetts and it was absolutely the most beautiful day. Filled with happy tears, lots of laughs and love, this was an intimate backyard wedding for the books!
Alex and Jared started their day with a first look in their super kind neighbors backyard which was in full bloom! After an emotional and sweet first look, we headed back to her parent’s house for their ceremony. I didn’t even realize it until he was coming down the isle, but her brother was the ultimate flower man! And this totally needs to become a normal thing because it is amazing!
Alex and Jared made it a priority to get all of their family photos done prior to their ceremony as well so they could fully enjoy their cocktail hour with their 40 guests. We did sneak off during dinner for sunset photos and Mother Nature blessed us with the most stunning sunset. This was a big priority for Alex and Jared when putting together their photo timeline and I was so thankful the morning clouds disappeared and we were able to sneak to the beach to take these photos.
They even had sparklers for everyone to get some fun sparkler photos at the end of the night! Even with bigger weddings coming back, I am always going to love these intimate backyard weddings. They are truly something special.
