Katie and Anthony had known they had wanted to do their engagement photos at a beach, and being in Rhode Island, we have lots of amazing options to chose from! They ended up choosing this quiet little beach in Barrrington they go to a lot. It ended up being the perfect evening for a spring beach engagement session.
Driving to Barrington, the sky kept getting darker and I kept thinking we were going to get rained on. But, when I was a few minutes away the sun decided to come back out, thankfully!
We had almost the entire place to our selves, minus a poodle who decided to run right up to these two during our session haha! They even talked about getting in the water and I was ALL for it! But, when Anthony realized he didn’t have a change of clothes, it didn’t sound too tempting anymore!
They popped some prosecco, sprayed some prosecco haha, ran around the beach and shared lots of laughs and some sweet moments too. I mean you can see it in some of these photos here, how they look at each other. And that is what I aim to capture. Lots of couples laugh when they are nervous, heck I do too! It’s when they are able to truly focus on each other, magic happens. I so so love when I am going through a gallery and I stop on an image and you can feel the connection. It is so meaningful.
Needless to say, we ended up with the absolutely most gorgeous night! Not even one bug bite to go with it, WIN! Haha! Beaches are always popular engagement session locations in the summer. However, if you are up for a spring beach engagement session you could still get some great weather, oh and way less people around!
