Intimate Destination Wedding in St Lucia

I have known Shelby and Brandon for a few years. The first time I met them was for Christmas minis I had hosted and we have stayed in touch through social media since then. So when Shelby reached out for my availability to photograph their intimate destination wedding in St Lucia, I was honored and excited!

They stayed at the beautiful Marigot Bay Resort which was the location for their first look as well as their wedding reception. Leading up to their wedding day, the forecast was showing rain all afternoon/evening. But after a few morning showers, Mother Nature gave us a gorgeous day.

Their ceremony was held at the La Haut Resort which has the most stunning ceremony backdrop of the Pitons. It was a bit windy during their ceremony though! So much so, the floral stands were blown over about halfway through their ceremony! But, makes for a funny memory to look back on! After their ceremony, we did family photos and couples photos at La Haut.

From the ceremony location, we took taxis down to Soufriere St Lucia to hop on their catamaran cocktail hour! It was such a unique cocktail hour experience! The sun even broke through the clouds for the last 30 minutes of the cruise which allowed us to get some amazing sunset photos.

Once we arrived back at the hotel, their wedding reception began at Marigot Bay Resort. Their wedding reception was designed by their amazing wedding planner Liz of Elizabeth Ise Events.

I feel so honored and thankful to be able to document this intimate destination wedding in St Lucia for Shelby and Brandon!
