When M & S originally inquired with me, they had very specific ideas for how they wanted their wedding day to be photographed. First they were getting day of wedding tattoos and it was important for that part of the day to be documented. I joined them at their Air Bnb bright and early while we all enjoyed coffee, listened to the rain and they got their matching tattoos.
They also wanted a very documentary style, hands off approach to the photos on their day. After meeting them for engagement photos a few months prior and spending the morning with their families, I knew this day was going to be special. It was honest, genuine, and truly intentional. Their wedding day is still one of my favorites over the past 7 years.
The rain ended up clearing, and with a little bit of a later start time, they were able to have their wedding on the beach. S wanted to get married with his feet in the sand and it was such a special rainy and romantic wedding day at Newport Beach House.
