Rhode Island Film Photographer for Weddings and Engagements

I started incorporating film photography during my 2022 wedding season and now offer it as an add on to engagement sessions and weddings! So, how do you know if film photography is something you should consider?

My film photography approach is all about more candid and documentary photos. Seeing a moment start to happen and capturing it on film. The crazy part with film, is there is no where for me to look at the back of my camera to see what the outcome was! I send all my film to get developed in New York and usually have to wait 1-2 weeks until I can see how they turned out. It takes out the instant gratification and embraces being in the moment, being present.

With how I shoot my film, it is best for couples who want to embrace the imperfect moments as much as the perfect ones. The photos have more grain, may not be in focus, but there is still emotion there. And that is why I love film so much!
